Nigerian musician Oludipe Oluwasanmi David—better known as Spyro has officially announced his engagement to Janet Atom, a makeup artist.
The “Who’s Your Guy?” hitmaker revealed on September 19, 2025, that he’s preparing to marry Janet, in what has become one of the most heartfelt moments making the rounds in Nigerian pop culture.
He says their story began in March 2024, in a Lagos club. At precisely 2:48 a.m., his world shifted. In Spyro’s own words:
“On the 30th of March 2024, my world paused as I found love in an unexpected place at exactly 2:48 a.m.”
A love he calls an answer to prayers
Spyro didn’t hold back emotionally. He described meeting Janet as finding “the answer to my prayers in a Lagos club while at work.” From that moment, he says, “I have lived every single day a very happy man.” He shared the news via his Instagram account.
“Thank you for saying YES, my sweet J. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
